Stella Labs’ Response to COVID-19
As we all know, the global community is being heavily impacted by the Coronavirus/COVID-19. Please rest assured that our team is monitoring the rapidly changing conditions that the coronavirus (COVID-19) is having on our community and continually preparing internally for how we will respond with our current programming, remainder of our 2020 planned programming, events, and goals. We are responding in a way that is consistent with current COVID-19 guidelines established by the California Department of Public Health. We are taking steps to help prevent community transmission.
We will keep everyone informed about any decisions around our current Winter 2020 cohort as more data and guidelines are established. We are implementing the following new preventative protocols and social distancing measures effective immediately:
- Rescheduling trainings, workshops, and classes for our founders that desire in-person sessions
- Transferring as many of our advisory meetings for the San Diego WBC to virtual meetings through zoom
- Working hard to sanitize our work environment at our headquarters
- Evaluating alternative solutions to all in-person events
We will continue to operate in a way that balances the needs of our founders, associates and the overall community and their safety.
