1. KICKOFF KEYNOTE: Vicki Saunders, founder of SheEO

Vicki Saunders is an angel investor, entrepreneur, global impact investor, and founder of SheEO. Hailing from Canada, Vicki will be our opening keynote speaker, inspiring women to activate their capital to fund new innovations. The goal of SheEO is: to reach 1M Activators, 10,000 women-led Ventures and a $1B perpetual fund to support women for generations to come. Vicki has co-founded and run 4 ventures in Europe, Toronto and Silicon Valley including Zazengo (an online platform for consumer and employee engagement for Fortune500 companies focused on sustainability), KidsNRG/The NRG Group (which went public on the Toronto Stock Exchange in 2000) and Impactanation, a global consulting firm focused on engaging youth to tackle the grand challenges we are facing.

Vicki was recently named one of the 100 most influential leaders of 2015 from “EBW – Empowering A Billion Women,” alongside Marissa Mayer, Melinda Gates, Sheryl Sandberg, and Michelle Obama.

In 2001, Vicki was selected as a Global Leader for Tomorrow by the World Economic Forum. She has spoken regularly at events around the world including; The World Economic Forum in Davos, Women of Influence Series in Canada, TEDx Conference, Schwab Foundation for Social Entrepreneurs events and the Tallberg Forum.

2. GLOBAL INVESTMENT KEYNOTE: Elissa Freiha, co-founder of WOMENA

Elissa Freiha is an entrepreneur, investor, public speaker, women’s rights advocate and co-founder of WOMENA a Dubai-based angel investment platform that empowers and educates women to invest in tech startups in the Middle East. Born and raised in Paris, the Emirati of Lebanese and American descent graduated from the American University of Paris with a BA in Global Communications and speaks 4 languages. As an active angel with over 28 investments between North America and MENA, she has been frequently listed by media outlets and most notably by Arabian Business’ 100 most powerful Arab women in 2015 and 2016 as well as the 100 most influential Arabs under 40.

3. INVESTING IN DIVERSITY KEYNOTE: Andrea Guendelman, co-founder & CEO of Be Visible

Andrea Guendelman is an entrepreneur, global media maven, and co-founder & CEO of Be Visible, a latina-empowering professional career network. Andrea will speak about the LATAM startup scene and how latino/a entrepreneurs and investors are impacting the global economy. Helping young women become leaders and achieve their full potential is her passion. Andrea came from Chile to the United States in search of the kinds of educational and economic opportunities Be Visible hopes to open for all Latinxs. After she attended Harvard Law School she worked as the associate director of the Center for the Advancement of Hispanics in Science and Engineering Education and later practiced law as a corporate attorney at Debevoise & Plimpton, the Export Import Bank of the United States, and Microvest Capital Management. Since moving to Colorado, she promotes the power of entrepreneurship for women and diverse communities by organizing various festivals and events including Common Pitch Chile featuring Al Gore and DevelopHer Challenge featuring Geena Davis and Maria Bello.
